The stand has a weighted base with castors and is very stable. The light arm is fully flexible as is the light itself so it can be moved to any position required. For storage the light arm can be folded parallel to the upright making it narrower than the actual base which is 290 wide. The light is a " Day light " so easy on the eyes when being used for long periods or at night. The magnifying glass, which comes with a small protective cover, can be removed and also has a very flexible arm. Height 1.110. The unit is in excellent condition.
