Restaurant Month is back for another year, set to bolster the Auckland culinary scene by offering discounted dishes and unique events for the entire month of August.
Gastronomes can expect 31 days of specially curated menus at the value-for-money price points of $25, $40 or $55+.
Restaurants included span those from the waterfront to the CBD, and from stalwarts such as Euro, Botswana Butchery and Odettes Eatery, to the newcomers and the underdogs.
Viv Beck, Heart of the City chief executive, said this year’s lineup is “more world-class than ever” thanks to the “inspiring lineup of chefs”, some of whom have recently returned to Auckland from stints overseas.

Craig Gemmell, a local Counsellor based in private practice at Coast Counselling in Whangaparaoa, is coming to share a few thoughts and insight to managing these stressful and anxious times.
Craig has a background in business management and has always enjoyed working with people of all ages and walks of life. His Counselling experience includes: High School counsellor, worked for two community agencies in West Auckland as well as counselling within the Prison system. In 2016 he began working with ACC.
