What are you up to this weekend?
Rally your troops and join the Great Community Cleanup this weekend. There are over a hundred teams from The Warehouse and the community cleaning up our neighbourhoods and natural spaces, but we need something more. We need YOU. Even a little cleanup will make a huge difference in the places we live in and love. Join us in helping to beautify our communities, take heaps of pictures, and share them with #CleanupNZ. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
