Volunteer Kāpiti
Next Saturday 1st October (International Day of Older Persons) we will be hosting an Open Day with our wonderful neighbours Age Concern Kāpiti. Come visit our offices at Kāpiti Impact Hub, 6 Tongariro St, Paraparaumu between 10am and 1pm to celebrate, rejuvenate, reconnect.
You will discover the services, activities and opportunities provided by Age Concern Kāpiti and Volunteer Kāpiti such as Steady As You Go and volunteer opportunities.
Join the fun with yoga, line dancing, Ukulele Institute and more!! All activities are free as well as the food!
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Pet Services
I am a Pet Sitter at kapiti Pet Services with over 20 years experience. I have looked after many different pets ranging from dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, cows, fish and chickens. I provide feeding and care for your loved pets in their own home up to twice a day or can stay overnight. I have had a couple of cancellations so now have some availability over the Christmas and New Year period. References available.
