Free lounge suite for upcycling
FREE - must pick up (easy access, Brown Owl area)
3 piece lounge suite, antique style/shape. Definitely needs reupholstering but framework, cushions and shape all sturdy. The two armchairs have been on our covered porch for a year, and look it. The couch has been inside and covered with a blanket. Actually very comfortable, and perfect for someone into upcycling. Will go to the tip tomorrow if no takers, but they’re so unique we had to check if someone wanted them first! Pick up only, no holds.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
