Thinking about taking on an apprentice?
The Upper Hutt City Council has been working with Industry Training Authorities and WelTec to help ensure our business community has skilled employees.
With the funding and support available, it’s a great time to take on an apprenticeship and help your business grow. Come along to this information session and find out more.
His Worship the Mayor invites local trades people, trade related businesses, those in the manufacturing and hospitality sector or anyone who might consider taking on an apprentice for a Pie and a Pint!
Registration essential https://www.upperhuttcity.com/Community/Events/Pie-and-a-Pint-with-the-Mayor.
NOTE: This event will only take place at Level 2 or below.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
