Daylight Saving Ends 7th April

Exceed - we fix windows & doors

One way to check if they are working correctly is to open the window, place a business card at the top of the window between the frame and the sash, and close the window. The card should stay there and be hard to pull out. If the business card falls out, or is easily pulled out the friction stays are worn and you’ll need to call us to replace them. In this condition they can be draughty and leak.
If your windows are in reasonable condition, opening and closing them fully two or three times, twice a year, should avoid the need to call us and lengthen the life of them.
Note- if your windows are really stiff don’t force them or you could break them. If you are careful you can lubricate the pivot points on either side with a spray lube. Anything but the red CRC (5.56) is okay. The red CDC has a cutting compound in it.
If you find any problems give us a call on 0800 25 25 00

Doors opening 8.30am - come and see what we're all about. Bargains galore with a free cuppa and cheesy toast triangles (while they last). We've been doing these Monthly Garage Sales since 1990, can you believe!!
Car boot sites $15 - please book by ph.528-3454 or text 0274 707 522. In addition to our regular recipients of financial support (Circuit International - improving lives in Myanmar) and Womgel in Ethiopia (sponsored through Tear Fund), we'll support Orphans Aid International this time. OAI was started by a New Zealand couple who sold their family home to set up an orphanage in Romania some years ago. The work has expanded into Uganda, Nepal and here in New Zealand. Check out their website - you'll be impressed.
Come and see why this monthly community event has been running since 1990!!
