The Rabbithole offers education in self-sufficiency and food growing, using organic and permaculture principles. Our garden tours are a chance to visit the garden and orchard in a more informal setting, chat and ask questions about seedlings and planting, companions and our plans for the summer garden! Great way to meet other gardeners, or just to see something new.
I offer green living coaching and advice - if you're looking to make changes to your own lifestyle towards more sustainable living, greener practices, better health and fulfillment, but are feeling overwhelmed with getting started or not seeing the results you want, this is a good opportunity to meet and chat about how I might be able to help.

Acoustic Duo, Kim and Dusty, have been bringing their whisky harmonies to Wellingtonians since November 2013 when Dusty moved to Brooklyn, the heart of the Wellington’s country music scene.

The duo play a blend of Country, Blues, Bluegrass and Folk. Audiences are captivated by their tight harmonies and easygoing nature onstage. Kim and Dusty always deliver something for everyone with dirty blues, lonesome ballads and high paced bluegrass standards. Regular performers at several venues around Wellington they also make time to tour to other towns around the lower North Island.

Our house concerts are family friendly events with personal flair. Seating is casual and if you feel at home we're happy. Children are very welcome.

We will provide nibbles and unlimited tea - and you are welcome to bring you own drinks or food.

Weather permitting, we will spill out onto the deck and the lawn - and you are welcome to tour the gardens, listen to the frogs or spend a quiet moment in the bush. While the concert will finish on time, you are welcome to linger - bring an instrument for a jam or just dream by the fire. Summer will have songs around the brazier as the stars come out and we can always fire up the barbie.

Suggested koha for the musicians: $15

Playing at the Rabbithole, Akatarawa, 27 November 2016, 7.30-9pm
Please email us if you'd like to come and we'll send directions: natalie@therabbithole.co.nz

Sandra from Timberlea

This intersection is becoming an increasing hazard. Please do not risk injury by trying to cross this road. There is an underground subway for safe access.
It goes from the bottom of the driveway of what was Brown Owl School; to near the Baptist Church on Akatarwa Rd.
