Putaruru Theatre Players present "Footrot Flats" the musical on stage at The Kensington Theatre Putaruru - Opening night 7th November at 7.30pm.
Directed by Tina Ward. This iconic musical was first on stage here in Putaruru 12 years ago, to sell out audiences, the committee decided let's do it again and here we are, some of the actors who were in last time and a lot of new faces to entertain the public of Putaruru and surrounding district.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
