Hi Tokoroa
I believe that toastmasters has so much to offer the community, we can all become better communicators and have loads of fun doing it, we have all kinds of improv games, debates and speeches prepared by speakers on anything they like I have heard some fantastic stories and told a few too, However we do need to get more local involvement Taupo Toastmasters are not going to be able to come down and help us run meetings anymore so we need to get as many guests as possible anyone that would like to become better speakers, like speaking or want to hear something interesting come on down guests don't have to take part unless they want to, recommend friends and family the more the merrier, I would like to see lots of Tokoroa people this Thursday night at Tokoroa club, chambers street upstairs in the blue room 7pm.

Thank you Tokoroa

St John's message this winter

The Team from St John New Zealand

This winter, St John urges the public to prioritise health & wellbeing. The most important thing you can do is be immunised against influenza and seek advice from a health professional if you are unwell. Each winter the surge of 111 ambulance calls continues to increase, which despite St John’s best efforts to triage and treat people in-home, places a lot of pressure on the ambulance service and the hospital emergency departments.

St John has issued five key messages to the public to help them look after themselves and each other this winter – read them here: goo.gl...
