UPDATE: Napier City Council withdrawn a paper seeking a decision on whether to proceed to the next phase of the proposed Hawke’s Bay multi-use sports facility to gather more information. It is likely the council will consider this decision later this year.
ORIGINAL POST: The cost of a velodrome and multi-use sports facility proposed for Napier has jumped from $15 million to $22.9 million. The 52 per cent increase from a previous estimate is outlined in a detailed business case for the project, commissioned by Napier City Council and due to be discussed by councillors at a meeting on Wednesday. The council is proposing to pay for a third of the costs and the new projections mean the contribution from ratepayers would increase from $5m to $7.7m.

Front loader cycle times

We measured out an average load weight and the cycle time came out at almost 3 hours! Gasp! Ridiculous. I know it's the nature of front loaders, but surely there are faster ones out there. So how long does it take to do a full load in your machine? What's the brand and how do you find it? I was thinking of an LG or Electrolux but the consumer site says, one is EXTREMELY noisy and the other hammers the water pipes. Has anyone experienced this? Thank you for your responses.
