I have a patient portal through my GP and the Min of Health, but I don't use it. I asked my doctor for his email and have shared some records I've made of conditions, and consulted for referrals this way. Otherwise I've searched generally, and on the Min website for current information on community pandemics, but little exists.
I want to promote health information sharing so we can gain better knowledge of emerging strains; course and treatment. Clearer diagnostics would allow services to generate and disseminate better information. For example, I haven't visited the doctor for this one; I expect I would be told it's a cold or flu. I want to know the name of the pathogen, and it's pattern of transmission.

Well she has had three pop up shops at the Heretaunga Women's Centre, it is going from strength to strength and some of this success is due to Neighbourly, her first ever customer learnt about Ivy from Neighbourly and one of her biggest sellers was discovered through Neighbourly, so a big thank you to you all. With the school holidays here she has secured the old Heards Jewellers Shop to pop up her shop on Friday and Saturday this week (13 & 14 July), then back at the Hastings Women's Rest on Sunday (15 July). If you want to join in on the success of Ivy you can sell your quality used clothes at Ivy and share in the profits. Contact ivystore13@gmail.com or pop into the shop.

The Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) confirmed the recalled products have been traced back to a Hungarian facility, known to be the source of the listeria.
A Countdown spokeswoman said the supermarket had been advised there was a potential risk its Bell Farms Steam Veggies, Carrot, Corn and Broccoli bags contained the bacteria.
The company withdrew one batch of the Bell Farms frozen vegetables on Friday from all Countdown, SuperValue, and FreshChoice stores and has since recalled all batches of the product. Anyone who has purchased this product can return it to any of our stores for a full refund.
Frozen vegetables generally pose no risk if cooked correctly before eating, she said. Listeria can cause illness in pregnant woman and their unborn babies, newborns, the elderly, and people with weakened immune systems.
Information on the recall is available here. More information on food safety and listeria can be found here.
