Are there any electricians out there who could answer a question for me?
I’m wanting to replace a fixed outdoor light with a sensor set. Do I still require a registered electrician to do it, as I would for a new install?

I’m also happy to take any fruit or veg bushes/shrubs or plants you might want to get rid of. I lost a lot when we moved this last time.

Our centre had highly committed, compassionate and professional staff who strive daily to provide the very best care and education to our children, their families and the wider community - sometimes in very challenging circumstances. Our centre is totally free for up to 30 hours of care and education for each and every child who attend.
We are looking for a positive, open minded individual who can
work proactively with staff, families and the wider community. If you have some leadership skills and experiences and a can-do attitude this would be an advantage.
Our Te Atawhai community is a very supportive one. As Chairperson you would be drawn into our welcoming community and well guided and introduced into the role. The role itself is not demanding and involves building strong relationships, giving guidance and outside perspective to the management and the small group of Board of Trustees, who are families for our children. You will Chair a BoT meeting every eight weeks or so.
If you are at all interested in this important role for our centre, please phone Kelly on 06 870 7030. Thank you.

To create safer, more caring communities we need to not only look after ourselves but those around us as well.
For the month of September, we want to use our voice to raise awareness for mental health and well-being. Perhaps consider sharing a cuppa with someone you know who could use the support or challenge your family and friends to unplug from social media for the entire month to improve their well-being. If you or someone you know is going through a rough patch, don’t forget you can call or text 1737 anytime for FREE support from a trained counsellor.
Don’t forget, this month also coincides with World Suicide Prevention Day (September 10th) followed by Mental Health Awareness Week (23 - 29 September) and Mental Health Awareness Day on October 10th.
However you choose to take part, feel free to tag us in your posts + use the following hashtag so we can see how you’re cultivating better mental health for yourself or in your community this month:
