Resene test pot paint

Beware...some adorable ghosts may be haunting your streets.

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Halloween can be a fun way to connect with your community. But naturally not all homes in New Zealand will get involved.
If your house is open to trick or treaters this weekend, or if you know of some popular, local streets for trick or treating, please share these below.

Herobility Eco Feeding Spoon and Eco Baby Spoon & Fork have been recalled as they pose a choking hazard for babies. It has been found that these can break into small pieces.

The product has been sold at Mummum, Global Baby, Hatch Boutique, J Ballantynes, Mighty Ape, Smith and Caugheys and The Nile from October 2019 to October 2020

If you have one of these forks/spoons and the date stamp is marked 2019 or earlier (or no date stamp is shown), the company advises to stop using the product and contact Bloom and Grow NZ to organise for a gift voucher to the same value.

Set of 6 dining room chairs. Solid and in good condition apart from the vinyl which is flaking - some more, some less - could be covered quite easily by somebody with a bit of sewing skill (or you can buy covers for them). Otherwise condition is excellent

Hi Neighbours

You may have seen our vehicles around your neighbourhood but be uncertain about what we do.

At DownSize NZ, we clear unwanted possessions from homes. We help our clients to dispose of unwanted items from their house, garage or section and we sell, donate, recycle or dump items on their behalf.

As well as helping clients when downsizing or moving into care, around half of our work involves deceased estates where we provide a complete service of clearing possessions and preparing homes for sale. As well as clearing possessions we tidy-up sections, complete necessary house maintenance and arrange any repairs needed to ensure the property achieves the best sale price possible.

For reference, we're a local Hawkes Bay business, have been Police-vetted and we take no commissions on items we sell. You can read what our clients say about us and see some examples of our work at downsize.co.nz...

So if you or someone you know needs a hand with downsizing or help with a deceased estate, please get in touch on 06 601 4266.

Kind regards, Ant and Sue McLagan

Not fussy as to where would definitely consider rural, and the cities and towns, central Hawkes Bay etc. I'm a landscaper/gardener, 48, single, non-smoker, quiet and respectful. I work full time and sometimes on the weekends but also do my design work at home so I'll be generally away at work. The house I live in has been sold and I have to find somewhere else to live. I'm open to any solo living situations, sleepout, one/two bedroom, a building (livable!)... I would also be open to a situation where the place needed some work to get it going. I've got lots of skills - interior decorating, basic carpentry etc. Maybe it needs to be cleared cleaned etc. Perhaps this could be part of the bond or something depending on how much work there is. I have money for bond rent in advance etc. While not looking to pay exhorbitant rent I will definitely be able to pay. Cheers

I haven't been able to start it, so would suggest most likely suitable for parts (but, I'm not a mechanic, so perhaps it can be revived?). Belonged to a neighbour, so unfortunately I cannot tell you much about its history, or why it is no longer running. As far as I'm aware until recently it has only been used to mow a small lawn, has been stored indoors and, judging by the attached tape, appears to have been purchased from Mitre10.
