Project Face Shield NZ

Kevin from Bethlehem

Project Face Shield NZ is a motley crew of approximately 200 hobbyists, print farm operators, university students and lecturers, industrial engineers, prototype houses, engineering companies and 3D printing raw material suppliers who are all giving their time for free to produce protection equipment for front line people to help fight Covid-19.

All time and administration is given for free meaning we have zero overheads other than courier costs and every cent in donations we get goes towards more face shields.

We feel we have a collective responsibility to help preserve those who protect us.

Every $10 someone donates pays for raw materials for one more mask that we can give away. We need money to help pay for more raw materials.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.

When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
