We’re proposing one, consolidated policy which covers the likes of mobile shops, commercial activity, community gardens, markets, and events. We’ve also created principles that will be used in decision making for what activity can take place on council land.

Serious crash in Bay of Plenty

About 7:35am, emergency services were called to Te Matai Road in Te Ranga after a single vehicle had collided with a tree.

The Serious Crash Unit is attending and diversions are in place as the road between Mark Road and Pyes Pa Road is now closed. Motorists are advised that the road is likely to be closed for several hours.
