Dear concerned citizen,

We must now all stay home. Because that’s how we’ll stop the virus.

Level 4 measures will likely be in place for a number of weeks.

Don’t worry. During that time you will still be able to access all the essentials you need, including medicine, food, and other home supplies.

ALL THE TIME, NO EXCEPTIONS
It’s incredibly important that we all follow the Level 4 plan, all the time. No exceptions. Because doing so will save lives.

A CHALLENGE FOR EVERYONE
We realise these are big changes. But these are challenging times.
If we don't all stay home, the whole country will need Level 4 restrictions for longer.

SUPPORT OUR EMERGENCY SERVICE PEOPLE
We owe it to the essential services. Our nurses, doctors and everyone else on the frontline. They’re working tirelessly to save lives. We should all do everything in our power to help them do this.
Thank you to each and every person, for doing their bit.

While you’re staying at home:

STAY CONNECTED
• Don’t let physical distance stop you staying connected. Keep in touch with people using video calls, phone calls, chat and texting.
• If you know people who are living alone, vulnerable, or separated from their loved ones, regularly check-in with them.

STAY WELL
• Continue to practice good hygiene – wash your hands with soap. Then dry.
• Cough or sneeze into your elbow.
• Regularly clean surfaces in your home with disinfectant.
• Keep up regular physical exercise, and get some fresh air when possible. It’s good so long as this is solitary, or only with those you live with.

REACH OUT
If you need advice, support or help, try reaching out to friends, family, whānau or workmates.

WE'RE UPDATING INFORMATION CONSTANTLY
For all the latest advice, including answers to your health and financial questions, go to Covid19.govt.nz.

And remember: what you do now, will help protect all of us.

Health News
Customers should continue doing laundry, regardless of whether its at a commercial outlet or in the home environment. Regular cleaning will prevent the spread of the disease as the virus can live on clothing for up to 3 days.
Viruses do not like heat. Hot water cycles should be used for washing.
Using the right amount of soap is important. Over-sudsing can prevent clothes from being rinsed properly and can cause dirt, and the virus, to be trapped in fabrics.
DONT FORGET disinfect your laundry baskets or use a disposable bag.
Hope this helps.
We wish you all best through this difficult time.
Bellevue Laundromat Team.

Hello Neighbours,

Do you have a NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® machine?

As part of my 2020 project initiative, I am collecting as many NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® capsules as I can to get them recycled through TerraCycle.
The capsules will be melted into hard plastic and remoulded into new recycled items.
This will help reduce landfill and better yet, help to raise funds for my preferred charity - St Johns New Zealand.

If you would like to participate, all you have to do is save your capsules for me (please make sure they are dry). Simple as that!!!

You are welcome to drop off your capsules at;
Momo Teppan-Yaki Restaurant
15 Wharf Street, Tauranga 3110
Lunch and Dinner Hours, except Mondays.
I intend to set up Collection Bins in a few weeks at places such as outside supermarkets, retirement villages etc for people who cannot get into the city.
As I am working full-time, my time may be limited so if you would like to help with collection, that will be much appreciated also.
I will be happy to pick up if you have collected many in your area so we can all work together.

I would hope we can come together as a community to collect as many NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® capsules as we possibly can. This will be an ongoing effort so please feel free to participate anytime you would like or simply spread the word so more people can join in!

St Johns New Zealand is a charitable organisation with, in my opinion, their frontline Ambulance Staff as a pivotal role in all of our lives. They are one of many people working crazy hours and tirelessly to save many lives out on the roads or wherever they are needed in our beautiful country. I have been fortunate enough that neither myself nor my immediate family have needed their precious assistance but are grateful for all the work that they do for others and for us, should we need it one day in the far future.

I hope you can help me support St Johns New Zealand.
Otherwise, you are more than welcome to sign up with TerraCycle yourself, nominate your preferred charity and start collecting for this great cause. The more we recycle, the more we are doing our little bit to help our planet and future generations to get more out of their environment.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this post! :)
