If you are having problems in your relationship this is a fantastic workshop to attend, thought i would share!

Conversations for Connection workshop is based on 'Hold Me Tight' by Sue Johnson, the developer of Emotionally Focused Therapy.

This weekend workshop is helpful for couples who are distressed and also for couples who want to feel closer and more connected. Single or separated people who would like to understand their relationship patterns are also welcome to come along to this workshop.

You and your partner get space and privacy to work through the conversations away from the group. You will not have to share with the group - this is an education workshop for couples, it's not a therapy group and Yve & Debbie are very safe facilitators.

You will get the opportunity to watch videos of couples talking, which you will find really helpful and encouraging before you have your own private conversations with your partner.

This is what other couples who did the workshop is saying:

"Quality, safe, secure environment"

"Today I leave feeling connected and loved, with hope and the tools to deal with whatever arises"

"There is hope for your marriage, no matter how bad or what crisis you are in. If you are both willing, this course will give you the foundation to rebuild a better, loving relationship"

"It gives you a map to navigate your way"

"Really good because it gets to the core of what is behind initial reactions to behaviours and arguments"

"This workshop opens couples up to a safe environment for deeper discussions on being REAL in your marriage"

We are really excited about this workshop and are looking forward to working with you. We do offer a payment plan option, to find out more please go to the website:

Inland Revenue is warning of several scams circulating this tax season. Inland Revenue revealed earlier this month that there is about $183 million of tax refunds sitting unclaimed – enough to fly first class from Auckland to London and back more than 11,000 times.

Since then the IRD has been alerted to a scam email that asks users to enter their personal details to claim their tax refund. The email has the subject line, "IR3 individual income tax return 2016".

It's important to remember the IRD will not:
- Advise you that you are due a tax refund through email
- Send an email with a link to a webpage which asks you submit personal details
- Ask for credit card details or bank account numbers over the phone in order to process a monetary payment
- Ask you to pay a tax debt using gift cards or vouchers
- Sent you an email that does not include or ask for your IRD number

If you receive a suspicious email, SMS scam message or a fraudulent call please email phishing@ird.govt.nz or call them on 0800 227 774 (make sure you have your IRD number).

Log on to the Inland Revenue's website, register for myIR and use its calculator to work out whether you are owed money or have tax to pay.

I'm an artist working from home and so places will be limited to about 4-5 people during school hours - will confirm these closer to start date but would either be a Monday, Thursday or Friday morning 10:30 til 12pm at this point. Message me with the time you'd prefer if you're interested. Costs will be $12 a session along with art materials you will need to purchase (you probably will have the basic supplies or else I can give you a list) I've had to put down a date - but this is just a rough estimate as I will probably start in term 3.

I was diagnosed with cancer just before we moved so everything down here regarding the house has been put on hold. I am now through treatment and really would love these jobs done so we can order curtains and put up pictures/paintings and make this house our home.
The first job is repainting the wall behind our bed (I have spare paint and also details of paint used) where the previous owners bedhead has marked the wall. Also on same wall there is a hole where a bedside table has made a hole in the all - probably when we moved in.
The 2nd job is the 2nd bedroom - to sort out picture hook holes on a wall - 3 holes where we only want one picture hook and a corner of same room where paint and plaster has been knocked off.
We want someone who is a neat and tidy worker who is also reliable and competent.
It would be lovely to be able to move on and finally make this house our home. Our friends are starting to notice!!!!!
