Entrée: Pan-seared prawns bound in a rose sauce or warm lamb salad with crispy bacon & basil pesto. Mains: a choice from Pork Belly, Duck Confit or Fish of the Day. Dessert: New York Brownie or Sticky Date Pudding. We had a good tasting with plenty of humour to entertain us. Because we had program time constraints & people wanted to buy wine here, we arranged to pop back in en route for home on Sunday.
We have visited CRAB FARM several times before & liked their wines. A bit disappointing this time. Some bought their port.
We finished Day 1 at CJ Pask. This older winery has consistently quality wines & the tasting was well received.
The first group were lucky to get good weather; this week's group had snow on the hills & cold temperatures.

Bevis, a resident at Ryman’s Anthony Wilding Village, recently received a gentleman’s makeover. The day began at the barbershop where Bevis and his barber Kohl shared plenty of laughs. Next up, a personal stylist helped Bevis select clothes he looked and felt great in. Being pampered isn’t the norm for Bevis but based on his smile, we’re confident he loved every minute.
