TWO LADIES - Deliciously deceitful political drama
Three of New Zealand's most celebrated actors take centre stage in Auckland Theatre Company’s season of Two Ladies at Baycourt Community & Arts Centre from March 12-13.
Two Ladies catapults two dynamic women into a high-tension global crisis. While their husbands, the Presidents of the United States of America and France, cross diplomatic swords, the real fireworks are down the hall, where bloodied Sophia and world-weary Hélène are trapped together, distrustful of their husbands and each other.
Starring 2020 New Zealander of the Year Jennifer Ward-Lealand (The Seagull), Anna Jullienne (Mean Mums) and Rena Owen (Once Were Warriors).
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
