“I’ll only eat dinner 2-3 times a week so that the children have enough food. This is very stressful… a lot of crying and minimal sleep.”

We had hoped to re-open the park to vehicles today but this week’s wet weather has delayed work on the parking areas so it will remain closed to vehicles until Wednesday 22 December. The park is still open to pedestrians and cyclists.
We’re carrying out an extensive upgrade to the park, including a new playground, parking layout and shared pathway. Most of the construction will be completed by Christmas, including the new playground, but we’ll need to come back in January to complete the finishing touches.
The good news is that the new playground and parking areas will be finished and ready to use over the holiday period.
