Recycling

Communications from Tauranga City Council

Transfer stations will resume normal services from the start of level 2 tomorrow Thursday 14 May. This means we will be able to accept all rubbish, garden waste and recycling again. We appreciate people’s patience for the return of these services.

Good to know:
You will need to pre-sort all waste prior to a visit, leave your details for contact tracing and maintain a 2 meter distance while you visit. Payment is by card only, no cash can be accepted.

More details are at www.tauranga.govt.nz... select ‘Waste services’.

Singing Santa

Chris Neighbourly Lead from Otumoetai

Hi, I'm after one of the above which also moves whilst singing. Been to The Warehouse and a couple of $2 type shops but unable to find one. Does anyone else have any ideas on where I might find one please?

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
