ANZAC Day services take place on Thursday in Taupo, Turangi, Waihi Village and Mangakino with the main ceremony held at the cenotaph on Tongariro Domain in Taupo at dawn.

There will be some road closures around the Taupo CBD while the services are taking place.
There are no changes to kerbside refuse or recycling collections, which will take place as normal on ANZAC Day. Landfill and transfer stations around the district will open at the later time of 1pm.
All our offices and district libraries will be closed for the day.

The Broadlands Road landfill and resource recovery centre and transfer stations around the district will be closed on Good Friday but open normal hours all other days.
