The result puts Taupo District Council fifth equal out of the 17 councils who have been assessed under the Local Government New Zealand programme, designed to give councils and communities an independent view on how their council is carrying out their role.

The living area opens up to a covered verandah, where you can enjoy the view of either the lake or the mountains and watch the beautiful Taupo sunsets.
The cottage has two bedrooms, one bathroom and air conditioning. Out the back there is a raised garden and paved private courtyard, which captures all day sun, ideal to laze in or to enjoy a BBQ.
