Help us care for our rescued kitties!

Hi Taupo

We need your support to provide kitty litter and wet kitten food for the little ones. Any donations would be greatly appreciated as these will be fostered for at least next four weeks.

Mum (likely less than 12 months old) was likely dumped, not desexed, and pregnant again - a sad reminder of why trapping efforts are crucial. And unfortunately this is a problem in the wider Taupo district, rescue shelters are overrun and cannot assist, takes a community to assist and get behind these efforts. These guys were found in built up residential area, wild and kittens never been touched by humans (slightly feisty).

Donations can be dropped to address 31 Noble Street, Nukuhau or 3 Kahikatea Drive, Kinloch.

Thank you for your support!

In December, the Waikato Times reported that Pure Tūroa Ltd (PTL) had applied to take over the concession to run Tūroa ski field and was planning to invest more than $30 million into the site, reduce the size of the operation, and limit visitor numbers.
