So last year my chemist got $21.99 off me for 100mls, this year they wanted $42.00. WTF? I tried to argue the price with them, but as usual it is like talking to a brick wall.
Solution, trademe, $27.27 including shipping for 1litre not a piddling 100mls.
Thank God for trademe!

This month is all about bringing your community together and having a great time! We want March to be all about celebrating the connections we have while making new ones along the way. As we all know, what makes a neighbourhood great isn't the houses and cars, gardens and streets - it's the people who share their presence and aroha with each other.
A wonderful way to take part is to participate in Neighbours Day Aotearoa which is celebrating it's 10th anniversary from March 22nd to 31st. To help you get started, we love their suggestions for 10 little and 10 big ways to get involved. (link below)

January 15 was the busiest day of the summer so far with 1226 people through the facility, however there were plenty of busy days last month with an average of 812 per day.
Pool operations supervisor Ryno Nienaber said the busyness on January 15 meant staff had to let one person in for every one person out for a period due to reaching capacity. It reflected a busy summer for the complex, which came after nearly quarter of a million visitors in 2018.
“It’s been another great year for the AC Baths culminating in a busy December/January holiday period,” he said. “We had 238,643 people through the doors in 2018 which is fantastic.”
Along with Taupō’s pool complex, the Turangi Turtle Pools and Mangakino pool had also been popular this summer. A total of 3,431 people visited the Turangi Turtle Pools in December, including 272 local under five year olds who visited for free under the council’s new policy. Last year during the same period, 203 under five year olds visited.

“We’ve had a real turnaround in the situation in the central business district. A few years ago we were seeing 200 to 300 arrests over the New Year period, and despite very large numbers of visitors we had just 20 arrests this year. I think a big part of what’s changed has been how police and council have worked together to make things more family friendly. And as we have changed the environment we have had to deploy less police resources, and council has had to spend less time on cleaning up rubbish and replacing trees and street signs, which used to take a bit of a thrashing,” he said.
Council chief executive Gareth Green said that in addition to things like changes to liquor ban areas there had been an increased focus on attracting families to the district.
