The Green Party confirmed Auckland businesswoman, 33-year old Julie Sandilands, as its candidate for the electorate.

Rotorua and Taupo Hospital systems restored

Taupo Hospital's computer system and patient records went back online last Thursday, following a fire at the Lakes DHB server room in Rotorua on Monday.
Unable to access electronically stored patient records, health professionals were forced to record manually with pen and paper.
