We are now at $4,090 thanks to a generous donation … View moreHi neighbours, it's Baz here from the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter. Our fundraising campaign to help us purchase two new sets of Night Vision Goggles has started out nicely with a lot of support from the community, thanks guys.
We are now at $4,090 thanks to a generous donation from Blenheim Pak n Save. Just last night we flew over to the Motueka Valley for a medical emergency and the original location they wanted us to land was shifted due to hazardous overhead wires which we picked up with the night vision goggles. These goggles really are vital in our safety and also finding you.

You need about 3 litres of water per person, per day and extra for washing, cooking and for your pets. We can’t survive without water for long. Store water in a dark place – speaking from experience, it only takes a little bit of light to grow a nice crop of green slime!
