Personally I think it could be very beneficial, teaching our 3 year old when we are out and about we are often greeted by dogs unleashed and unmuzzled, and regularly reassured by dog owners that their dogs are fine around kids, when an actual fact the dogs body language and signs show us the dogs are not actually feeling fine.
