Yesterday Associate Minister for Housing Alfred Ngaro visited Rotorua and announced that an additional 117 state houses were on the cards for Rotorua.
He said there were plans for 37 transitional houses to be available by the end of the year, and a further 80 new social housing properties over the coming three years.
