#RotoruaNZ residents at the south end of town may experience low water pressure on Monday 19 December while crews redirect water mains at the Hemo Gorge intersection work site. Work will start at 6am and water pressure should be back to normal by 6pm that night.

If you feel an earthquake that lasts for more than a minute or makes it hard to stand up, don’t wait for an official tsunami warning. Move immediately to the nearest high ground or as far inland as you can. Walk or bike if you can. Stay there until you get the all clear.

A little note to say Happy Holidays can make the world of difference to an older neighbour. Have your son or daughter make up a card or get your crafty hat on and make one yourself. It’s a great excuse to pop over and have a nice chat.
