I had a small car accident with another car at Countdown, Fenton Street last Sunday (26/6)... There were quite a few on-lookers at the time of the accident, so I would greatly appreciate if any witnesses could come forward.
My Insurance Company (AA) would like to investigate further, as it may not 'actually' have been my fault (even though I was backing at the time).
I have a red Mazda and I personally believe the blue Subaru didn't see me as I was backing out and drove straight into the back of my car. They didn't stop immediately (as I did) either, as there are marks all along their passenger side (as you can see in the photos).
I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who can help.
Many thanks
Ingrid

As a mostly volunteer led organisation, our members know first hand the value and impact that a single volunteer can make in our communities. Imagine then how much can be achieved when several volunteers or even an entire street or neighbourhood decide to work together to achieve the same goal!
Whether you plan to coordinate your own volunteer driven activity, take part in one that’s already been setup, participate in National Volunteer Week (16-22 June), or simply show your own volunteers some extra love this month, know that every bit of effort to give back is a priceless investment in all of our futures.

Unfortunately these sweet little birdies are not only creating an interesting "look" in the skies" but pooping on our roofs, crapping on our driveways and door steps and courtyards, as well as our lawns and driving all the native birds, sparrows and waxeyes away. Is there a humane way to rid the area of this pestilence? Or do we need to call in a "Pest exterminator"? Something a little more effective than a popgun?? Our Glenholme area is a 'nice area'. We'd like it to stay taht way without the pigeon-poop............

Bentonite Soap and Shampoo Bar from $2.80
SMOOTH AS SILK.....
For Hair: Aids hair growth: Bentonite clay contains sodium, potassium, and calcium – minerals that are essential for hair growth. But, additionally, it also removes dead skin cells from your scalp and cleanses hair follicles that, in turn, boost hair growth.
There is much more info on this amazing ingredient, but I've kept it brief.
Benefits of Bentonite For Skin:
This amazing clay helps to remove toxins from your pores, allows skin to heal and reduces inflammation. Bentonite clay helps in the lightening of acne marks on the face. Bentonite clay helps to heal scar tissue and stretch marks.

Let's make sure we all arrive alive to where we need to go by following these four simple and proven road safety actions:
- Make sure everyone has their seatbelts on
- Remove distractions and stay focused on driving
- Don’t get behind the wheel if you’ve been drinking or are tired
- Drive at a safe speed for the conditions
With severe and changeable weather forecast for across the country the following winter driving tips are equally important as well.
The only way we can reduce unnecessary road deaths and injuries is by working together to be safe, considerate and alert on the roads. If you spot dangerous driving behaviour or urgent but not life threatening driving incidents you can report it to the New Zealand Police by calling *555 for free from any mobile device.
Have a great long weekend!
