We have … View moreI would like to voice my concern as to the short period of time it took for our newly elected members to vote themselves a nice pay rise. This is at a time when there are so many people in our area who are living below the poverty line and are finding bit hard to live on a daily basis. We have children going to school without breakfast or lunch.This is where our elected councilors should be focusing and I suggest they donate all their pay rises to charity where as a city we will be able to assist those in need.

Are you or someone you know struggling with feeling alone? Maybe you suffer from a mental health issues? Maybe you’re struggling to make ends meet, maybe you’ve just got out of a relationship, or maybe work has been really tough lately. Whatever it is that’s getting you down coffee cheese n crackers is a support group designed for people to get together, have something to eat, and have a chat with others.

We run our meetings out of Linton Park Community Centre on Kamahi Place. Everyone is welcome and your confidentiality will be respected. Our next meeting is THIS FRIDAY between 6pm-7:30pm. Hope to see some of you there. Coffee, tea and nibbles provided!
