I have been busy again sewing beanies, scarves and gloves out of polar fleece for the homeless and handing onto "love soup" who feed them. If anyone has any polar fleece they would like to donate so I can continue, it would be much appreciated. This month is all about supporting our young people, to encourage and empower them to not only be the change-makers and community builders of tomorrow but also the best versions of themselves. To listen to their perspective and remember that it’s not just about what we can teach them, but what lessons they can teach us. After all, the recipe for creating healthy, happy children includes a lot of the same ingredients for building safer, more resilient and connected communities.
