This is all based on increased Capital Valuations. The places mentioned for potential increases include Fordlands, Selwyn Heights, Western Heights, Koutu...one 'good point' mentioned is that properties in these areas have increased in value which is great according to those sharing this information. More information will follow Saturdays mail out, and you will be able to write to Council if you object. Apparently on average only 1,000 home owners object. I am in Auckland at present but decided to listen into todays meeting.

Meetings are held at St Barnabus church on School road and are open to any ladies. Come and visit, sit in on a meeting and see if this is for you. Meetings start at 1.15 pm
