Hey neighbours,
After months of searching for three guns, supposedly stolen from the Palmerston North station, police have turned up two of them during a national audit. How's your level of confidence in the thin blue line at the moment?

Venues, attractions, councils and businesses are increasingly improving their physical and sensory accessibility provisions to enable everyone to enjoy what they have to offer. These great places might have accessibility features that help with physical access and inclusion, or perhaps special sensory features.
Submit your review as part of Firstport’s Great Accessibility Day Out competition and help share news of the places that are top of the pack when it comes to providing accessibility for all. By entering you’ll go in the draw to win an Annual Pass for an attraction of your choice, up to the value of $250!
From the reviews received, Firstport plans to build a fantastic library of reviews to sit on the website that other family and friend groups can check out next time they’re planning a special day out. The competition closes 5pm Sunday 11th August 2019.

Teams will be made up of four (4) people at $10 per person.
You can register your team a couple of ways:
* at Not So Shabby in Foxton or
* email the Foxton Beach Community Patrol cpnz@foxtonbeachpai.org or go to the Community Patrol Facebook page.
If you’re unable to get a team together, contact the Community Patrol and they will put you in a team or two of ‘strays’. You may even have a Community Patroller ‘to keep you honest’.
There will be raffles and prizes with a supper served.
Proceeds from the night will be donated evenly between the Foxton Beach Community Patrol and the Horse Drawn Tram. Both organisations are run entirely by volunteers and deserve our support.
