If you're in the wider Manawatu District Council area - reach out to Manawatu District Libraries via website or Facebook for the same help. Be patient and I'm sure someone will get back to you. The Government has banned events of more than 500 people to halt the spread of the COVID-19 virus, a measure that will hit an already bruised economy after sweeping travel restrictions last week.
Dan Boyd, co-owner of herbs and spices supplier Raptor Naturals, said the business has been rocked by the cancellation of the Central District Field Days and other significant shows.
It relies on sales from big events for 30 per cent of its revenue.
More than 600 stands will also lose out on the benefits of the event.
