Some years ago, the Awapuni Leads ran a stall at St Marks Church fair for neighbours day. Neigbourly supplied us with a large banner, t shirts, giveaways and balloons. We were lucky enough to get funding from mayor Grant Smiths Mayoral fund of a few hundred dollars, that paid for face painting and balloon animals created by a local resident. Our local members all contributed to to a Care and Share table which had jams relishes seeds plants and some craft items. We were also able to supply to a local scout group sausages for a give away sausage sizzle and a donation of water bottles from a local business was really appreciated. I do think that after the chaos of March/April/May 2020, it would be good to see something positive for March 2021. Look on the website Neighbours Day Aotearoa and see what resources are available from that site.

I'm certain I've seen something like this here in Aotearoa-NZ, but can't for the life of me recall where. It was in the back of the medicine cupboard. Let us know if you've seen, had - or have - one in your home.
