We are working with some of the people affected to both support them and decide on the best type of meeting to arrange. I’m in Nelson this week and will share the meeting details once they have been finalised. In the meantime, please feel free to message me on here, phone my office on 03 539 0480 or email me at nelson@parliament.govt.nz if you want to be involved. I’ve met with the lovely man who was attacked by three young women, and his family and advocates and we are providing support to him. Everyone deserves to feel safe in their community, and I know that’s what most of us in Nelson want for everyone who lives here. Take care everyone, and I’ll share meeting information on my page as soon it’s available.

New Zealand's small businesses have had another tough few weeks. We're calling on you, wherever you are across the country, to recognise a local business making a difference in your community.

We all love a cheeky grin and a wave from our local grocer, or a toot from the delivery driver, or a coffee order that’s ready before we arrive. These are the business owners who remind us we're home.

Give your favourite local business owner the recognition they deserve by nominating them in the 2023 Prospa Local Business Hero awards.
