When choosing to double glaze your home there are many different options available.
My favorite is the use of low E (energy) glass, I have found this to be the most efficient.
Low E has a special coating on it which allows light in and reflects heat back into your home reducing heat loss.
When made into a double glazed unit it is a great solution for a warm cozy home in winter keeping the heat in and the cold out, it also helps with reducing condensation.a warmer dryer home means less heating reducing power bills.
Low E also reduces solar gain allowing for a more comfortable cooler home in hot summer weather.
I can retro fit your home in wooden or aluminum, for a free quote call Chris on 021642428.
Below are some pictures of a wooden double glazed retro in process.

I wonder how many people realise that if the Kaka subdivision goes ahead there will be a through road from Atawhai Drive to the Maitai ?
I wonder if any of the 700 households will cycle to work in the city, or will they fight their way to Richmond everyday ?

I wonder how many people have thought about all the extra traffic in town and how it might affect them and their property value ?

My tenants are in urgent need of a 3/4 bedroom rental property. Brilliant tenants. Clean tidy and never miss their rent payments. Can anyone help?

We've taken these shelves out of our garage, so if anyone wants them before they go to the dump you're welcome to collect.

Replies to date from councillors to my email protesting the $44 million library precinct and the 7% cumulative rates increases for the next 7 years, basically say that they've had very few complaints, that they think they're acting in our best interests, that they can feel the 'synergy' this would bring; one even said they could imagine " a virtual electro-magnet for the kind of talent that will bring our city investment, innovation, opportunities and jobs." LISTEN UP COUNCILLORS! We are facing climate change with storms, fires, flooding; the real possibility according to the latest scientists of Covid getting into NZ; we have the dire situation of residents who are homeless, or hungry, poor - young people can't even afford their first home, let alone pay rental prices... and we have infrastructure and a housing crisis that can't possibly cope with an influx of electro-magnetically attracted talent. This Council needs to open their eyes to reality, not wonderful beautiful nice-to-have visions that are out of touch.
if you're at all concerned about this council's plans for a $44 million library and huge cumulative rates increases of around 7% a year for seven years- please do pop off just a brief email to them stating your concern! An email to councillors@ncc.govt.nz will be sent to each and every councillor.
