Nomination forms are available from the Marlborough Express Office, Marlborough Museum, and Marlborough District Council.

Food recall: Mac's Non-Alcoholic Ginger Beer

Mac's owner Lion is recalling some of its non-alcoholic ginger beer, which may have been incorrectly filled with beer.

The batches of Mac's Non-Alcoholic Ginger Beer carrying the false labels have a best before date of March 20 or 21, 2019.

"This recall does not affect any other batches of this or any other Mac's brand product," a recall notice said

Lion apologised, and offered a full refund to customers if they had the incorrect product. Customers with the product should contact Lion on 0800 835 554.

This was off the back of six lambs in 2016, five lambs in 2013 and 2014, and a run of four lambs every year from 2009 to 2012. Plus one her first time round.

Stolen lambs - can you help?

Police are calling for the public's help after 50 lambs were stolen from a Marlborough farm. Between July 13 and September 15, 50 lambs were stolen from Ashmore Valley Vineyard paddocks on Grahams Rd in Fairhall. The lambs were marked with yellow tags and had Ashmore written on them.

Police are calling for the public's help after 50 lambs were stolen from a Marlborough farm. Between July 13 and September 15, 50 lambs were stolen from Ashmore Valley Vineyard paddocks on Grahams Rd in Fairhall. The lambs were marked with yellow tags and had Ashmore written on them.

Anyone who had been in the area recently and had seen anything suspicious, or had information that might help police was urged to contact Blenheim Police on (03) 578 5279 and quote file number 180917/3619.

Information could also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
