If you are in immediate danger and can’t call 111, leave your house and get out of harm’s way. Get to a safe distance and then ask a neighbour over a fence, or a passer-by, to call 111 for you. Your safety comes first.
It’s everybody’s responsibility to speak out and keep each other safe right now. If you think something is not ok with a friend, neighbour, or colleague, it’s okay to call Police on their behalf. The person you’re worried about may not be able to speak up for themselves. You could be saving a life.

Dice, a 9-year-old black poodle, and Weed, a 3-year-old black and white fox terrier cross, were first reported missing from the Otago Peninsula by their owners Alan Funnell and Louisa Andrew on October 17.
Andrew said on the first and second day New Zealand went into level-four lockdown in response to Covid-19, there were two potential sightings in Kaikōura. There was also another potential sighting in Picton last Friday, April 3.
"It's very difficult, we had a sighting in Kaikōura, which on day one of lockdown sounded really promising," Andrew said.

It might be something they've taken up from scratch or something they've returned to after many years. Anyway, here's the first one, hope you enjoy.

The campaign, Marlborough's Brilliant Backyard, is kicking off with a quiz updated on Marlborough's main tourism website, marlboroughnz.com, every Tuesday and Thursday.
Each quiz asks four questions that can be answered through information that can be found "somewhere" on the website, and everyone who completes the quiz goes into the draw for a prize.
Tuesday's prize is a dining experience and wine match for two at Arbour, valued at $362.

The Covid-19 outbreak meant the ski field had frozen the sale of their season passes, in case the not for profit club were unable to provide a refund, should the ski field not open.
Rainbow Ski Area general manager James Lazor said the goal was for the field to open on July 3.
"That all depends on the government and their decision on the alert level, but in June we would need to start making a decision on staff," Lazor said.
