Catharine from Rangiora

Banner has been rehomed - a huge thank you to all that volunteered a space in their home and lives for her. Her brother, Quantum is at Kitty Kingdom and will be available for rehoming once he as been healed of his trauma and becomes the lovely confident boy he should be. Kitty Kingdom are full up just now with cats from 2 weeks to 12 years old. Once we come out of isolation please consider contacting them on (021) 253 1842 where you can view available cats and kittens. During this time they will need support so please consider donating to them - Bank Account 020 852 0018091 02. They are a registered charity and donations over $5.00 are tax deductible. If you want a receipt put that in the payee reference along with your name so the payment can be receipted. You will then need to phone or text Karen and she will arrange for that to be sent to you. A big thank you to all cat and animal people, we rock :) We also care about those who can't speak for themselves.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
