This event was fully sold out and there were a number of people waiting for cancellations. As a popular event for the women of our community, we anticipate it will remain so.
If you have tickets these are still valid, and we hope you will be happy to retain them. Major projects like the City Rail Link, Light Rail, Eastern Busway will be supported by the funds, as well highway upgrades and new walking and cycling connections.
It is part of a $24.3 billion transport package announced by Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency on Tuesday.
Waka Kotahi spokesperson Steve Mutton said the funding will support growth with more accessible, sustainable travel options.
“Auckland is a world class city and it needs a world-class transport system that is safe and efficient to keep everyone moving as New Zealand’s largest city continues to grow,” he said.
