While overall rates of participation were disappointing across the country, I’m grateful to say in Porirua we saw a robust campaign that never descended into the rancour and nastiness that affected contests elsewhere.
The Council had a busy year with a big works programme of water and roading maintenance and upgrades, as well as extensive tree planting, that will accelerate into 2023 and beyond. Continuing questions over the precise direction of the Government’s Three Waters plan, along with impending local body reforms, make this a difficult and uncertain time, but I have every confidence in the city’s readiness to adapt to this quickly evolving environment.

Construction staff are available on the site and as and when safe to do so they will allow pedestrian access along the walkway.
There is provision to open through access for approximately half an hour from 3pm in order to allow local primary school children to walk through as usual on their way home from school. Site safety staff will man the access point to ensure the students' safety as they travel through this afternoon.
We are really excited that we are running a little bit ahead of schedule and we're looking forward to our new classrooms being ready for the start of Term 1 next year!

These all show the antibacterial level of manuka honey.
The concentration of hydrogen peroxide is what gives manuka its effectiveness along with the fact that honey is hydroscopic (absorbs moisture).
Multi-floral manuka simply means that the bees will have collected other honey at the same time as the active manuka whereas mono- floral will be pure manuka.
Obviously the higher rating the more expensive your honey will be. If you require a good honey for a sore throat etc, a 5+ or 80 MGO is all you need. At the other end of the scale if you are treating a wound I would use a 20+ and apply it topically.
