The Music Learning Centre in Redwood has a couple of weekly lesson slots immediately available for violin, piano and cello students.

My wife, Liz Sneyd, is our violin teacher. She is a Phd in Maths and Violin, has a Queen's Service Medal for Music Education and a NZ Secondary Schools' Teaching Certificate. She has been a professional musician and teacher for 30+ years.

I am the piano teacher. I have a Masters degree in Composition, Licentiate Diploma in Piano from Trinity College, and a Queen's Service Medal for Music Education. I have been a professional musician since the 1980s, as a pianist, viola player, composer, arranger, music typesetter (very experienced on Sibelius software) and teacher. I can also help with advanced Theory and Composition.

Our son Benjamin Sneyd-Utting is our cello teacher. He has a B.Mus. in Cello and Composition, and an Associate Diploma in Cello from Trinity College. He's in his Honours year at the NZ School of Music at Victoria University this year.

If you're interested, please enquire about lesson-times and fees via email or phone: sneydutting@gmail.com or 027-630-7435. We have violins available for hire, and teach students of all ages!
