Has anyone lost their fancy pigeon?
This pigeon has adopted us 2 days-ago. Very friendly will eat out of your hand. Won’t fly away despite trying to get it to leave. Keeps coming back to sit on our deck and tap at our glass window. We contacted race pigeon association who say it is not a racing or homing pigeon but someone ‘fancy’ pigeon. It has a cute tuft of feather behind head. Please share. We are in Paremata. We have not got it captured just hanging with us. Would like to find its home as our cat is quite put out that he is no longer top dog! 😜
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
