What matters most Kapiti?
This month we're asking our communities 4 big questions. Your responses will help inform decisions about where to focus Council activity over the next 20 years.
Our first question for you is: What matters most in your community as we navigate through this global pandemic.
Watch this video to hear what some Kāpiti Coast locals have to say about this - you may spot some familiar faces. Have your say and learn more at whatmattersmost.kapiticoast.govt.nz or visit your local library or Council service centre.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
