Helping Hand for the Elderly and/or Infirm
Good morning Neighbours, my name is Glenn McIsaac. In these uncertain times we find ourselves in of late, some maybe wondering how to cope with running errands and how to source everyday items too.
If you need anything done away from home and are unable to leave or you need something picked up, or whatever, then PLEASE PLEASE do not hesitate to contact me on; 021 023-12550 and together we will sort out a solution. There will of course be no charge for this help, unless you’re in a position to give any food or product which will be handed over to the Kapiti Food Bank.
Thank you neighbours 🥰 and I mean it, please do not hesitate to contact me! I am free all weekend (now!) and after 4 generally during the week.
Otherwise good luck everyone and please let’s all keep an eye out for our elderly, infirm and housebound neighbours during these times ❤️
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
Do you think this ban is reasonable?

What's your favourite recipe for courgettes?
Kia ora neighbours. If you've got a family recipe for courgettes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our January 2025 issue.
