To celebrate these awesome people, and to make the most of being outdoors in the sunshine, we thought it was the perfect time for a rock hunt.
We've hidden some #loveeverydrop rocks around Lower Hutt, and if you find one and bring it in to Wellington Water's office and you will receive a prize.
So put your explorer boots on, slap on some sunscreen, and get hunting around the Lower Hutt region as there are only 10 to be found.
Over the next few weeks we'll be hiding some rocks in Porirua, Wellington and Upper Hutt, so keep your eyes peeled to find out when the rocks are in your region.

Amazing food, entertainment and beach activities. We will provide free sun screen. For the kids activities we will provide some equipment such as shovels, buckets and balls but to ensure everyone gets a go, it may pay to bring your own shovels and buckets. Make sure they are labelled and are close to you.
We are seeking any help from the community, scouts, girl guides to donate an hour or so of your time to supervise some of the children's activities and to make sure everything is running smoothly around this area. (just simply PM me or the beach festival page)
We will have volleyball, ring toss, ball throwing, sand castles and a big dig going all day. At 4pm we will have sack races and tug of war to test your strengths.
So come along! Bring your shovels, buckets and picnic baskets, relax and enjoy a wonderful afternoon with friends and whanau
